DESCRIPTION

OASEALANT 221 polyurethane sealant material is a two component and low modulus product which cures to form the permanent elastic adhesive property. This product can be applied to the materials such as concrete and stone, normally been used to the building industry with excellent result.

RECOMMENDED USES

● Sealant for expansion joints of the building

● Sealant for expansion joints of roads, bridge and airport areas etc

● Sealing of precast building, automobile parts, containers, ship and
window frames of cottages

● Waterproofing sealant of steel construction and storage tank
● Sealing application of waterproofing, sports courts, running tracks,
flooring and so on

APPLICATION

● Joint sides must be sound, clean, dry and free from dust, oil and grease.
Paint residues must be completely removed.

● Insert backup material to assure correct joint depth and to prevent three-sided joints.
The depth of joint should be 1/2 – 2/3 smaller than the width of joint.

● Use marking tape on both joint sides, for neat and clean straight flanks.

● Apply BP-333 primer on joint flanks only. Allow the primer to cure prior to apply the sealant.

● Fill joint completely with sealant. Cut nozzle, place in caulking gun and puncture seal inside spout.

Ensure there are no cracks.

● Remove protective tape after placing the sealant; do not apply when the material is wet.

PACKAGING & STORAGE

Component A:10 kg

Component B: 5 kg

● The product must be stored properly in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions
at temperatures between 0°C and +25°C. Higher storage temperatures may reduce shelf life of product.
